5 months

Over a month ago I had a dream. It started out to be a great one. It was a Ferris Bueller's day off with one of my bffs Serena.
It turned bad. The toilet was full of swimming triceratops that were out to bite. Then small children started to climb out of the toilet. They were followed by the Dalai Lama. Naturally.

I woke up in the middle of the night disturbed and confused. I was a little freaked out to be honest. AND I also had to tinkle. For a good ten minutes I tried to talk myself into walking down the dark hall to the bathroom. I couldn't get the triceratops, children and the Dalai Lama out of my mind.
So I nudged my husband, warned him that this was going to sound crazy, and then asked him to walk me to the bathroom.

He did. (Turns out there were no left over triceratops, children or Dalai Lama)

I am a grown woman. What? I have been walking myself to the bathroom for years.

Now...

it is kind of nice that I have a dark hall escort.

Oh my gosh, that is sooo sweet..
How awesome is it, to share those crazy personal moments with someone you trust, like being escorted to the toilet to pee in the dark because there might be triceratops in the toilet bowl (*wink*)
Hey we are having a girls night out the 20th Nov. Are you in or out?
(don't be chiken)

Sometimes when I have nightmares (I have a lot of them) I will wake up, then scream, just so my husband will wake up and comfort me. I used to be so independent. What happened to me?? :)

The question is was I there while the triceratops and creepy kids were crawling out of the potty? I'm honored that I would be apart of something so spectatular!!! Amazing! What a wonderful husband you have!

Ha ha! Thanks for sharing! I have random nights where I freak out and decide it is possible that someone snuck into our house before I set the alarm and is just lurking around a corner. I remember once waking my husband up to explain to him that I needed to sleep on the other side of him that night so that if someone broke into our room, they'd have to go through him first to get to me. He just kindly obliged. So handy to have around!

Triceratopses (sp?) in the TOILET?? I. Love. You. One time I had a dream where I offered to be the surrogate mother for a bunch of kittens. I don't even like cats. It was awkward. Thanks for making me smile :) Miss you!

W.O.W. Lynn - I think your dream tops them all. I can't believe I didn't read this post sooner. You know I love you. You know there is no way I could love you more than I already do. But i totally just love Dave more now that he willingly got up out of his sleep to walk you to the bathroom to make sure there were no triceratoprs, children or the Dalai Lama in the toilet - such a good hubby.

I swear just when I think your posts couldn't get any better...I read your newest and realize I am one lucky to gal to have a friend full of awesomeness like you my dear. Best dream ever. What a great hubby!! It is funny how marriage can bring that little girl out in all of us. I am so dependent on Shawn to comfort me late at night...True LOVe!
